OPRF Community Block Party
Join Oak Park and River Forest High School for an exciting day featuring the legendary alumni band The Jade 50’s, a variety of food trucks, face painting, bounce houses, and numerous other family-friendly activities. Admission is FREE. It’s all happening on the Mall on the west side of OPRF, where you’ll also have the chance to take a lap on the new track! Don’t miss out on the fun!

Swim Access Program at West Cook YMCA
The West Cook YMCA offers a COMPLIMENTARY session in our swim access program which will include a swim assessment of all children and placed in an appropriate class based on swim level and the skills of the children. This program is designed to increase the opportunity for swimmers to have access to water safety and swim lessons to communities and families that typically do not have access to swim lesson programming.

Ping! Providing Instruments to the Next Generation
PING! brings equitable access to the instrumental music programs in Oak Park and River Forest School Districts 90, 97, and 200 by loaning instruments and providing music enrichment opportunities to students in need, opening the door to music education and all its related benefits to those students who would otherwise be unable to participate.
