PTO Scholarships

Scholarships for Willard Programs and Events

Thanks to generous PTO donations and fundraising efforts, the Willard PTO is proud to offer families extra support through scholarships for Willard programs, events, activities and other school-related purchases. These scholarships are designed to give more students an opportunity to participate in the Willard community and experience all of the great things Willard has to offer.

The PTO is proud to offer scholarships for all of the following:

• Willard PTO events and activities – we offer numerous scholarships to student events with an entrance or registration fee  (e.g. STEAM Night, School Dance, Family Culture Fest)
• Willard PTO clubs and programs – we make 1 scholarship available for each program or club (e.g. one scholarship per World Language class, each Chess club, each yoga class, each Slowfire class, each Legacy Sports camp, etc.)
• Fun Lunches
• Other supplies and purchases – Spirit Wear, Yearbooks, School Supplies Kits, School Pictures, etc.

The PTO also provides funding to cover everyone‘s fees for class-wide field trips to allow all students to participate in these additional educational opportunities outside of the classroom.

Eligibility for Scholarships

The Willard PTO makes scholarships available for families who qualify for fee-waiver assistance at the state level as well as families who may be experiencing financial difficulties who do not qualify for fee-waiver assistance. If you’re worried about your student not being able to participate in a PTO event or activity due to financial concerns, please contact the Willard school social worker, Laurie Dalrymple, and she can help coordinate scholarships and other support for your student.
