The Willard PTO is happy to share news and information about community programs, activities and events coordinated by external groups and organizations relevant for Willard Elementary students and families. If you have information you’d like to have included on the bulletin, please complete this form to add your activity.

  • Pro Musica Youth Chorus

    Pro Musica Youth Chorus is a singing group for children from grades K through 12. We have four performing groups and have served the Oak Park River Forest area for 35 years.

    We are a place of community for children who love choral singing, would like to be part of an ensemble where they will learn vocal technique, music theory, and musicianship.

    We are opening registration and voice placement for the Fall

  • RFCC Summer Camps

    Young Voyagers Camp (3 years – Incoming 1st graders)

    Destination Summer Fun! Children ages 3 through incoming 1st grade will enjoy art activities, sports & games, music & movement, water play, and field trips. A lunch and two snacks will be provided daily.

    Adventure Camp (Incoming 2nd-5th grade)

    These wonderful camps provide fun opportunities each day. The camp will have organized games, arts and crafts, team sports, science experiments, nature, and more!

  • Foster Athletics Skills Academy

    Presented by Coach Jordan, Foster Athletics Skills Academy is for beginner and intermediate athletes, ages 7-12. The clinics include fundamental-focused workouts as well as skill breakdowns and progressions. Takes place in-person on Saturdays plus online drills for home.

  • Swim Access Program at West Cook YMCA

    The West Cook YMCA offers a COMPLIMENTARY session in our swim access program which will include a swim assessment of all children and placed in an appropriate class based on swim level and the skills of the children. This program is designed to increase the opportunity for swimmers to have access to water safety and swim lessons to communities and families that typically do not have access to swim lesson programming.

  • Ping! Providing Instruments to the Next Generation

    PING! brings equitable access to the instrumental music programs in Oak Park and River Forest School Districts 90, 97, and 200 by loaning instruments and providing music enrichment opportunities to students in need, opening the door to music education and all its related benefits to those students who would otherwise be unable to participate.

  • River Forest Park District

    The River Forest Park District is a place for fun and community. Programs for children and adults are available throughout the year.

  • River Forest Library

    River Forest Public Library is committed to providing value and excellent service to the Village of River Forest. RFPL is regarded as an important information, entertainment, and community resource for people of all ages.
