Hello Willard Families,
I hope you have all had a summer full of the things that bring your family joy! As we gear up for the start of the 2024-25 school year, I cannot help but express my excitement to welcome you to another amazing year at Willard Elementary. Whether you are returning or new to Willard, we’re so glad to have you as part of our Willard family.
Our teachers and staff have been busy getting everything ready to make sure your child has a wonderful start to the school year, creating an environment where students are safe and excited to learn every day!
I am truly looking forward to partnering with you in the year ahead!
2024-25 Willard Back-to-School Guide

Kindergarten Meet-the-Teacher
Mrs. Brenneman, Ms. Driscoll, and Mrs. Garvey are eager to welcome our incoming kindergarteners for our Kindergarten Meet-the-Teacher on Tuesday, August 20 between 8:30 and 9:15 am.
Preschool Meet-the-Teacher
Ms. Bynum and the Preschool team invite our preschoolers to their classroom on Wednesday, August 21:
AM Class: 9:30 - 10:15 AM
PM Class: 1:00 - 1:45 PM
First Day of School for Kindergarten-4th Grade
While all families are welcome and encouraged to accompany their children to school Wednesday, for safety purposes, please give your hugs and take your photos outside as only students will have access to come into the school when the bell rings at 8:20.
First Day of School for Preschool
Our Preschoolers will be joining us on Thursday, August 22 for their first day of school.
Smartphones and Watches
Please remember to keep Phones and Smartwatches at home. If a child brings one to school, they will be asked to turn them off and put them in their backpacks until the end of the school day.
New Family Welcome
The New Family Welcome is on Monday, August 19 at 4:30 pm in the Willard Auditorium. All new families to Willard are invited to attend.
Back-to-School Picnic
Immediately following our New Family Welcome on Monday the 19th, at 5:30 pm, is our Back-to-School Picnic! See you there!!
Simply the Best
The Willard school maintenance crew led by our new Building Engineer, Humberto Vigil, swung into action and worked tirelessly to make Willard sparkle. I can't wait for your Wizards to see their beautiful school!
